Adjusting Permissions
1. Allow screen recording and accessibility access
Once installed, you should see this warning dialog prompt for screen recording access.
Click Open System Preferences.
Next, click the Privacy tab. Click the lock in the corner of the window to unlock the Privacy settings.
Click Screen Recording, and then select the ConnectWise Control client.
Click Accessibility, and then select the ConnectWise Control client.
When you have finished, click the lock again to prevent further changes.
2. Close the System Preferences window
3. In the open alert, click Quit Now
After allowing screen recording access, you should see a small window open near the menu bar.
Click Quit Now to restart the ConnectWise Control client.
A technician should now have remote control over the macOS device.
Ending a session
Click and hold on the ConnectWise Control icon on your dock. From the pop-up menu, select Quit.
Saving or deleting the PKG file
If you are a technician that will be connecting to this session again, you can keep the PKG file in Finder or on your Desktop for later use. Otherwise, you can delete the PKG file from your Downloads folder.
